Hot or Not Mug

Long before Tindr or any of the currently popular dating apps (or, indeed, any apps) were around, there was only one place to go if you wanted to judge the hotness of random people – or have your own hotness judged by strangers – and that was the site hotornot.com. The NHot Mug has nothing to do with the original site in that you can’t judge people on the basis of their looks using it. What the mug does enable you to do, however, is easily determine weather your coffee is hot or cold with one glance. The writing on the side of the cup starts out reading “NOT” and, as the cup warms up, changes its message to read “HOT.” When the mug is in-between, you can safely assume that your beverage is on the way to becoming cold and that you should finish it up quickly. It’s a simple, effective and surprisingly fun design.
