Though medium roast, I had learned that sometimes medium roasts actually makes a blacker, more full-bodied coffee. Wake-up Blend is sour. Not bitter, which I like in a coffee, but sour. I was looking for a good bulk price in a fair trade coffee, but Wake Up Blend is not it. I am going back to the French Roast that Trader Joe's sells in the same 28 oz cans. It's cheaper and better tasting. Unfortunately, it's not fair trade. I don’t like this coffee.
